Baktrans Taşımacılık ve Ticaret A.Ş. was incorporated in Izmir in 1995 in order to purchase, operate and sell any and all kinds of land, air and sea means of transport. Its head office is located at Atatürk Organize Sanayi Bölgesi at Cigli, Izmir.

Baktrans A.Ş. provides services in such subjects as passenger and cargo transportation on international and national basis, leasing and letting on lease any kinds of land, air and sea means of transport and customs clearance. 

Operations of Baktrans are carried out in four major branches of service: Aviation, Shipping, Land Tranpsortation and Customs Clearance.
